MINNIS IS NOT GETTING THE NOMINATION?
Recent leaks have revealed that the FNM is gearing up for a potentially contentious period of political manoeuvring. The long-standing animosity between Hubert Minnis and Michael Pintard is no secret. Equally well-known is Hubert Ingraham’s lingering resentment towards Minnis for what he perceives as ingratitude, given his role in Minnis’s political rise.
Ingraham has advised Pintard not to give Minnis the nomination for Killarney to get even. This way, they would not have to contend with Minnis trying to get the FNM MP to pull a Loretta on them.
But everyone knows Minnis lacks self-esteem and would not stand for Ingraham, Pintard and Symonette’s gamesmanship.
So Minnis has gone on a rampage, leaking classified information on Pintard, which could confirm the previous accusations of ‘murder for hire’, a scandal that rocked the FNM a few years back. But the speculations alone may cause Pintard some sleep and anxiety.
The FNM is at a critical juncture, faced with a decision of utmost importance. Should Pintard be the one to challenge the widely respected Philip Davis, or is it time for a strategic replacement? The clock is ticking, and the party must act decisively to avoid potential defeat.
The drum beats louder for the FNM to bite the bullet and move with a more pleasant, attractive, and conciliatory Shanendon E Cartwright.
Some believe it is best to act now or risk missing out on two straight victories. This could mark the beginning of a new political era, akin to a Sir Lynden-like dynasty of several elections to come, potentially reshaping the economic equation for a spell.
The FNM is at a crossroads; the decision to stick with Pintard or risk the party’s relevance is a weighty one.
On another note, Minnis’ ally is Lincoln Bain; imagine that combination.
