Disaster avoided as D Mac worked over-time and gave the audience a spectacular performance. According to our backstage source, the headliner Machel Montano and other schedule artists were faced with multiple airline delays which cause panic behind the scenes. D-Mac was put in an awkward predicament as he was forced to do an encore performance, which extened his performance time to almost two hours.
Thankfully, the crowd did not mind as he was performing his heart out. At no fault to Machel, his connection flight got delayed and almost missed the last Bahamasair’s Miami to New Providence flight. Bahamasair’s management approved for the flight to be delayed to accommodate Mr. Montano. He was able to hit the stage at 2 AM and ended his performance at 3AM.
Bahamas Carnival Experience continues tomorrow on Arawak Cay for Unleash Cooler Fete.
