The urgency of this question cannot be overstated. Is former FNM Senator Jamaal Moss guilty of blackmail? Some would easliy conclude that his actions could be construed us such.
The public has a right to be informed about the extreme measures Jamaal Moss is willing to take to secure a nomination with the FNM. His actions, often embarrassing and desperate, should be exposed, and it is our responsibility to raise awareness about them.
Moss, who is not very bright, has been kept on at ZNS even though the FNM tried to eliminate him because of his inability to apply himself to be helpful. However, people at the corporation felt sorry for him because he was a single father, so they ignored his shortcomings. He thrives on mischief-making.
But his overzealousness, hunger, and thirst for a nomination have caused him to sell his soul to the devil. Moss is the ghost behind exposing what Hubert Minns was doing, which weakened the former prime minister and eventually demolished the Free National Movement government.
Moss also dug deep into the infamous road improvement and found suspicious details about Hubert Ingraham. He leaked FNM inside information for the same reason: because he was passed up as a candidate. Then, he threatened to expose salacious information on Michael Pintard if he did not get a nomination this time.
Now Moss is at it again. He has sent veil threats to ZNS that if he didn’t get his way, he would bring down the house. How could he work in an environment where he caused such mistrust?
Blackmail has been Moss’s modus operandi for many years. Presenting himself as a quiet, unassuming gentleman, but behind the scenes, he is a vicious sniper who targets people and makes their lives a living hell, with no regard for the misery it would cause to his one child.
Lord knows how many people he threw under the bus from his party while hiding behind a mask.
JAMThe FNM must be responsible for exposing this dangerous individual to their internal affairs. If he doesn’t get his way, he will cause chaos, a threat that should alarm us all.
But the latest is that he is tied to a ring of mercenaries who have embarked on destroying the FNM and anyone else who gets in his way. This connection is evident from [specific evidence or incident]. Deep in his warped mind, he believes he is entitled to a nomination since he has successfully used his schemes to trick people into thinking he can be trusted.
The million-dollar question is, do the police know of his mastered blackmailing tactics? Can anyone trust him with information for fear of who he will use it against?
The FNM doesn’t trust him, and he is not trusted in his job. The Bahamian people should run for cover at the sight of him. He operates in the shadows and lurks behind the scenes, waiting for his next victim. The authorities must stop him.
Blackmail is a crime, and it should be reported regardless of who is the perpetrator. It’s our responsibility to ensure that such actions do not go unpunished. You be the judge if there is enough cause for the relevant authorities to dig deeper.
