Minister JoBeth Coleby-Davis signs amended MOU with Middle Tennessee State University to expand education and career opportunities
NASSAU, The Bahamas — Bahamian students are set to gain greater access to world-class aviation education and training following the signing of an amended Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Energy, Utilities and Aviation and Middle Tennessee State University.
Minister of Energy, Utilities and Aviation JoBeth Coleby-Davis signed the agreement alongside the university’s president, Dr. Sidney McPhee, marking a major step in the Government’s efforts to develop Bahamian talent for the aviation industry.
The expanded partnership is expected to create new pathways for Bahamians to acquire critical technical skills and prepare for careers in a sector considered essential to the country’s economic growth and national development.
Minister Coleby-Davis described the signing as a significant investment in aviation, Bahamian talent and the nation’s future.
Further information on the training opportunities, eligibility requirements and application process is expected to be announced.
