Hubert Minnis has singlehandedly brought the once-powerful FNM to its knees. All supporters and well-wishers are literally “walking around with their heads hung down”. It’s sad on Mackey Street.
The embarrassment comes from knowing that everyone saw it coming, no one said anything, and are blaming everyone but themselves.
National Prophetess Loretta Butler-Turner spelled out that he was not a leader and that he had terrible ways, he turned out worse.
The avaricious Eastern Road, hungry for power, quickly found out that they could not control Minnis, who showed them better than he could tell them.
Minnis knows that Conchy-joes are afraid of confrontation.
Highly questionable and suspicious Minnis threatened many with exposing their dirty dealings that sent shock waves throughout the party.
They know Minnis’s modus operandi.
By damn, since then, every bitch and a bulla has gone under the floor to hide and may not ever resurface again. There is no Hubert Ingraham to pull off what he did to Tommy Turnquest.
No FNM has the “testicular fortitude” to confront Minnis, who is ruling with an iron fist.
Barring any new party emerging, the PLP will be in power for decades to come. It sure looks like Minnis will be around for a long time, thus relegating the party to the dustbins of history.
But wait, I had better consult with the prophetess, who knows what’s up next. Having been ostracised from the FNM, she is the last place they could look for any help in resurrecting the party.
