The Nassau Guardian must not have enough news to fill their pages because it is inconceivable why the Office of the Spouse would cause them to set their hair on fire.
Amidst all of the very suspicious behavior that happened recently, with the outgoing government headed by their bosom buddy Hubert Alexander Minnis, and the mysterious dealings with Adrian Gibson, his sweetheart, missing cars, missing OBAN files, and the long-awaited BPL report requested as it relates to Darnell Osborn questions, how could an office with no budget have any significance?
WHY IS THIS A PRIORITY? Is this a female thing, catching feelings?
There is no proof that the Guardian did any investigative reporting related to the many suspicions of malfeasance, but are salivating about this trivial matter.
The Managing Editor if she was worth her salt, would dig deeper and help the public understand why several “big players” in the FNM should not see the inside of the cell at Fox Hill Prison.
If the Guardian were serious about behaving as the Fourth Estate, they would not, by commission or omission, fail to show Minnis and the FNM for what they are, a fraud.
So an office that we have determined has been sanctioned by Caricom and is mandated by all member countries in the region will be occupied and in grand style.
Mrs. Davis, a community-minded participant, attached to may women’s organization, even the Humane Society, and a philanthropist in her own right should occupy the office that will go a long way in assisting her in what she has been doing all along.
I will go on the limb and say that the office would now be the centre of attraction because the holder of the office will bring the class, energy, attention, respect, and influence that it deserves.
The big question is since she has already agreed to occupy the office, SO WHAT????
The next question for the Guardian should ask is who all in the FNM has huge bank accounts in China, Cayman, and other countries. Then and only then would we know that they are really serious.
Otherwise, we could easily conclude that they are STILL only agents of the FNM.
