Air Canada Vacations will be operating nonstop flights from Toronto to George Town once weekly on Sundays, with service set to begin on Dec. 19.
The flights will operate through April 17, 2022, according to Bahamian tourism officials.

Deputy Prime Minister Chester Cooper
“We are excited to welcome new and returning Canadian visitors who want to escape the winter weather, to visit and enjoy the beautiful Out Island of Exuma,” said Bahamas Tourism Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Chester Cooper.
“Air Canada Vacation’s direct flight from Toronto Pearson to George Town not only benefits travelers but also the local community on Exuma.”
That’s along with weekend flights between Montreal and Nassau beginning in December.
“As the demand for leisure travel continues to grow, we’re ready to advance the recovery of our industry by meeting the needs of travelers from all walks of life,” said Nino Montagnese, Vice President of Air Canada Vacations. “We want to entice Canadians to dream of relaxation, adventure, and sunnier days ahead. Exuma provides the perfect breathtaking backdrop for those dreams.”
