Among the events was today’s one day seminar involving the participation of librarians throughout New Providence. Giving a synopsis of her life’s journey as a librarian was Mrs. Genesta Stuart Baker. Other individuals too shared information from a young professionals’ standpoint. The keynote speaker was Under Secretary Serethea Clarke who offered words of encouragement to the professionals. As an act of gratitude for their dedicated services, numerous local librarians were presented with tokens at the conclusion of the meeting. Assistant Education Director Wenly Fowler gave the vote of thanks.
